With proper diet formulation for NE and SID amino acids (Zijlstra and Beltranena, 2013), weaned pigs fed 200 g wheatmillrun/kg achieved similar overall growth performance as pigs fed the SBM diet. The maintained ADG indicated that NEvalues of feedstuffs were adequately estimated and that NE values of diets were balanced, despite the reduced CATTD ofGE, by increasing canola oil inclusion with increasing inclusion of wheat millrun. Gain:feed for day 8–14 was increased, indicating that pigs adapted to fibrous diets and extracted nutrients from wheat millrun (Wenk, 2001). Protein digestibilitywas not reduced, but the reduced dietary CP with increasing inclusion of wheat millrun will inevitably reduce N supply forpigs and may reduce N excretion
