The grains were soaked in distilled water for 7 h, excess water
drained and grains were germinated in a seed germinator (Macro
scientific works pvt. ltd. India) for pre standardised conditions i.e.
20 h, at 32 C and 90% relative humidity. Grains were then dried in
tray drier at 45 C for 18 h and the final moisture content was 9.3 g/
100 g.
