This study compared the productive performance of bullfrog
froglets reared in the Anfigranja system and receiving food in different
feeders. We suggest the use of a production system with
vibrating feeder tray since the animals showed better weight gain,
feed conversion and specific growth rate. There is no need to use
fly larvae on the frog farm, thus avoiding an increase in production
costs. This is an important step to minimize the stigma of frog meat
production. Further studies are needed to compare the costs of different
production systems in order to provide data for producers
so that they can choose the best system for their property
