Similar to neck angle, neither group showed a propensity
to work more upright or reclined in the chair. Twenty-three
percent of the participants were judged to be working with the
backrest more than 10°reclined, and fifty percent were
working with shoulders and lower back in contact with the
backrest, reclined less than 10°. Fifteen percent worked in an
upright posture with shoulders forward of the backrest.
Eleven percent were observed leaning forward without
obtaining any support from the backrest.
