The chart above shows the relative size of the user base in all the ASEAN countries (except Myanmar) in mid 2012. The number next to the country name on the x-axis represents its overall rank in worldwide total Facebook users. For the sake of comparison, Brazil and India, the second and third largest Facebook-using countries in the world at the time, are included. As we can see, Indonesia and the Philippines were the 4th and 8th largest source of Facebook users in June 2012 in terms of raw numbers. Thailand and Malaysia also cracked the top 20.
