Japan to Resume Whaling Despite World Court Ruling
Environmentalists are shocked to hear that the Japanese government will start killing whales again for “scientific” research in early 2016.
Japan´s Fisheries Agency informed the International Whaling Commission that it will hunt and kill hundreds of minke whales.
The country is set to ignore the decision of the United Nations International Court of Justice which ruled that the whaling is illegal. Already in October, Japan declared that the ruling would not apply to its program.
