2.1.4.4. Other simulation conditions. Usually, a turntable is installed
in domestic microwave ovens to improve the uniformity of microwave
heating, and Liu et al. (2013) have developed a method of
modeling microwave heating while taking rotation into consideration.
However during our microwave cooking, temperature histories
of the six spatial points inside both sample and water solution
were planned to be recorded at the same time as mentioned. The
rotation of turntable during cooking will greatly increase the difficulty
of the experiment and decrease the accuracy. Due to this situation,
rotation was not incorporated into the experiment (and the
simulation) in order to simplify the measurements.
