The communication technologies applied in the
education domain are perceived as the key to improving the
quality of distance education since they provide a way to
perform experiments with equipment that is not physically
present in the same place as the user [12]. The quality of the
interaction environment enables the acquisition of skills and
the learning of concepts when using virtual laboratories or
other education tools [13]. The Online Lab application is a
computational environment (platform) allowing free user
access to distribute computational tasks while maintaining the
quality of service and user experience [15]. It is
complemented by the HD Videoconference application, the
prototype videoconferencing platform which will be deployed
in the Future Internet. The third e-learning application is
Computer-Aided knowledge/skill Assessment system (CAA),
which supports the assessment of the learning process
