To summarize, there is a clear relationship between style and
initial (v) in informants as a whole but differences within each informant
group are not significant. The variant most frequently used in initial
position is [v] (more than 50%), followed by [w]. As for final (v), the most
frequently used variant is [f], followed by [v]. It has been found that there
is no relationship between style and final (v) in informants as a whole
and also in two out of three informant groups. Comparisons of initial and
final (v) in informants as a whole reveal that the patterns are significantly
different. Realizations of initial and final (v) in each informant group are
found to be statistically significant in most cases.
