Council competition has a marginally significant result,
indicating that in the presence of such competition the predicted
probability of having a woman leader is 0.065 points lower than if
there were no competition (significant at the 0.10 level). The
remaining independent variables, including the percent of women
that labor outside the home, the number of children per adult the less likely there is to be disruptive conflict. Finally, it appears
that the higher the percentage of household heads that are women,
the more likely there is to be disruptive conflict. The remaining
explanatory variables are not statistically significant
