When using a rotary valve on the Standard DeDuster design, the rotation of the
rotary valve should be in a clockwise direction, when facing the front of the
DeDuster. This allows material to strike the inlet deflector and spread across
the primary air wash deck
When using a rotary valve on a low-profile or split DeDuster design, the rotary
valve should be placed at a 90° angle from the standard design, with the valve
knives turning from bottom to top away from the front of the DeDuster. This
allows material to feed evenly into the DeDuster inlet, and the flow split evenly
by the internal diverter.
