The effect of fertilizer and spacing on the
plant height of Jatropha is shown in Table 1.
Application of fertilizer significantly increased the
plant height of Jatropha. Highest plant height were
insistently recorded when 350kgNPK/ha was
application all the years (Table 1) in 2009, wet
season, application of 300 and 250kg NPK/ha and
poultry manure at 250kg/ha produced statistically
similar plant height. 250kgNPK/ha cow dung per
hectare produced significantly taller plants, than
control. Similar results were also obtained in 2010
wet season however, in 2011 season, 250kg NPK and
250kg of poultry manure produced similar plant
height. The shortest plant height was recorded in the
control (Table 1).
