“Agape Coral is an experimental group that knows what is needed to give our clients the authentic experience of Krispy Kreme,” he said in a statement, according to Gestion.
The principal owner of Agape Coral is Fontana Holdings Business, Ltd.; in which Manuel Corripio Alonso has major participation.
“We are excited to bring Krispy Kreme to Peru,” said Alonso, reports Gestion. “If our experience with the brand in the Dominican Republic serves as a sign, the Peruvian people will quickly welcome the signature products of Krispy Kreme including our famous Original Glazed donut, coffee and assorted beverages.”
Krispy Kreme was founded July 13, 1937 by Vernon Rudolph. Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, it began when Rudolph purchased a yeast-raised recipe from a New Orleans chef and began selling to local grocery stores. The rest is sweet history.
