This paper focuses on the anticorrosion performance of steelsurfaces coated with epoxy paints modified by PANI and PANI/clay nanocomposites. The anticorrosion properties of epoxy coatings inthe presence of PANI-based nanocomposites prepared by two dif-ferent montmorillonite fillers, one with a hydrophilic (MMT) andthe other with an organophilic nature (OMMT), were investigated and compared in this work. The anticorrosion behavior of the coatings was examined via electrochemical, immersion and adhe-sion tests.
