This air con restaurant is of modest size but comfortable and warmly decorated, with a small garden on each side and a tiny outdoor area used when the main room is full (which seems to be more or less all the time).
Many people who moved to Bangkok from southern provinces go to Khua Kling Pak Sod when they miss their native recipes, and once you know how spicy dishes can be down there, you realise how bland Bangkok style food actually is... even by Thai standards. Of course, some dishes are less spicy, but the whole point to lunch at Kua Kling Pak Sod is to get a blast.
