Lavender ‘Spanish Eyes’ has green-grey pinnate or ferny leaves that when crushed resemble the smell of oregano rather than the traditional lavender aroma. It grows about 60 cm tall and bears small blue-violet flowers on tall spikes that reach up above the foliage and last a long time. This lavender flowers throughout the warmer months and is easy to grow in sun or light shade. It needs adequate water during the warmer months but water should be restricted during winter.
