Inoculation: The seedlings at three-leaf stage were inoculated with the spore suspension (1×106 mL-1). The second and third leaves were sprayed using a sprayer. The two different concentrations of garlic bulb crude extract (40 mg.mL-1, 80 mg.mL-1 and 160 mg.mL-1) were sprayed 24 hours before and after the inoculation of spore suspension of F. fulva, respectively. Control tomato leaves were sprayed with water. After spray-inoculation, pots were then incubated in a growth chamber at >90% RH and 22oC. Disease intensity was recorded at 15 days after inoculation by estimating the percentage of the affected leaf area. The affectivity of each treatment was calculated (Xu et al., 2009; Portz et al., 2008).
