Cuts and Bruises
When whitewater rafting it's impossible not to come in contact with rocks, both under and above the waterline. Rocks are definitely hard and are often quite sharp, which can cause cuts and bruises if you are thrown against them while navigating the river. To minimize your risk wear appropriate clothing, footwear and hand coverings while rafting in particularly rocky and turbulent areas, and keep your arms and legs inside the raft whenever possible.
