This research was intended to study the teaching effectiveness level by using
virtual Classroom for a case study in Educational Laws subject, and to compare the students’ opinion for teaching effectiveness, including to collect the problems and suggestions for improving teaching effectiveness. The 154 samples were enrolled students in Educational Laws subject for the second semester,of 2005 (2/2005) .
The instrument for collecting data was questionnaire with six areas in the course by using virtual classroom : curriculum, instruction media, learning behavior, place and classroom climate, learning evaluation, and students’ satisfaction . For the data analysis, means, standard deviation, and F-test (ANOVA) were statistical analysis by using computer program. The results in the findings were as follows:
1.The students’ opinion in teaching effectiveness by using virtual classroom for ever all and each of five areas were in high level, except the learning believer was in the moderate level, those were the place and classroom appeared the hightest mean, learning evaluation, curricular, instructional media, and students’ satisfaction were accordingly.
2.The students’opinion in different four groups were significant difference at .05 level in the overall and the three areas; curriculum, instruction media, learning behavior, and students’ satisfaction. For the other two areas; the place and classroom climate, and learning evaluation were no difference.
3.The problems collecting in all six areas were more contents, insufficient for computer with the amount of enrolled students, learning behavior of both instructors and students, learning evaluation, and students’ satisfaction by using virtual classroom. The students’ suggestions for improving teaching effectiveness by using virtual classroom should be the content analysis, the requirement of more computers, the definite learning behaviors between instructors and students by student center approach, the feedback of evaluation results, and the convenience for computer access. The paper document might be supple- mentary to solve miss this problem.
