Our conceptual framework in Figure 1 shows the two
proposed relationships and the control variables
included for each of the relationships. In a first step
we argue that inter-sender role conflicts have a negative
influence on the IJVGM’s job satisfaction and a
positive influence on IJVGM’s job stress. In a second
step we suggest that the IJVGM’s job satisfaction is
positively and the IJVGM’s job stress is negatively
related to IJV performance, thus conceptualising
IJVGM job stress and IJVGM job satisfaction as mediators
between inter-sender role conflict and IJV performance.
