4. Data analysis
The data analysis was divided into two categories: studying the students' ability in English creative writing at the end of each lesson plan of English creative . writing through the Melodic Approach and studying the students' attitudes towards classroom atmosphere after being taught English creative writing through the Melodic Approach.
1. In order to study the students' ability in English creative, six pieces of creative writing were scored by using the scoring rubric. The scores then were calculated for the values of means.
2. In order to study the students' attitudes towards classroom atmosphere, the scores from the inventory were calculated to find the values of means and percentage. Initially the five parts of the inventory items were scored separately. Then average scores were calculated.
