The radical scavenging effects of all phytochemicals are represented in Fig. 2. All the assessed phytochemicals were able to reduce the stable, purple colored DPPH radical reaching 50% of reduction. The minimum and maximum IC50value was 13.62 ± 2.03 g/mL and 58.54 ± 1.72 g/mL for vitamin E and stigmasterol respectively
