Federal prosecutors said Friday that they will not charge John Hinckley Jr. in the murder of Ronald Reagan´s press secretary, James Brady. "The decision was made following a review of applicable law, the history of the case, and the circumstances of Mr. Brady´s death, including recently finalized autopsy findings," the U.S. Attorney´s Office for the District of Columbia said. Hinckley Jr. shot Brady in the head in March 1981 during an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan at the Washington Hilton Hotel.
