Is Paradigm Change in Education Just a Dream? In the previous section, we briefly outlined how we envision a new system of education in the information age - learner-centered education - which has a focus on student learning through a self-directed, project-based learning approach. We described use of a project space and instructional overlay to support learnercentered instruction and learner-centered assessment. In this section of the article, we will describe how technology can enable this new system of education and provide some examples of schools which have undergone paradigm change to show that paradigm change in education is no longer just a dream.
