The aim of the present study is the synthesis and the characterization
of hybrid microwave absorbers. Thus, epoxy resin
composites with anhydride as a hardener were prepared with different
amounts of PANI and Fe3O4 fillers. The structure and the
morphology of the samples were investigated by X-ray diffraction
(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The influence of
the filler content with respect to the electromagnetic properties of
composites has been investigated. Complex permittivity and permeability
and microwave absorption property of the composites
with different thickness were studied in the Ku band (12.4–18 GHz)
using microwaves guides and a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA).
