This was demonstrated by the
decrease in oedematous tissue over
time and a restoration to normal
uninjured skin. LEP:TP ratios for
the five patients confirmed that
KerraPro Heel pressure-reducing
pad was more effective at resolving
oedema over the course of the fourweek
evaluation, compared with
the usual treatment given
(Aderma, n=1; No pad, n=1;
Unnamed pad, n=1; KerraPro,
n=2); findings which were reflected
in the comparative ultrasound
scans (Figures 3–17).
