This research is aimed at applying Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm for Type I Assembly Line Balancing . Which have defined working time and minimum station number by comparing with example problems and answers, Mozdgir, et al., (2011) to compare the performance of the method. This research has application techniques to find the answer by using a mathematical model for balancing a single product line, and then answered with development methods, the artificial bee colony algorithm (Artificial Bee Colony Algorithm) to make the minimum number of work stations. The results of the solution. Found that the responses from methods, the bee colony algorithm with high efficiency. The answer can be found only with the Optimal solution for approximately 70.15 % (??) of all sub task issue 339 the problem.
