Most applicants will be required to take an admissions test. The International Community School reserves the right
to determine which testing is needed. The family will be contacted to schedule a language assessment and/or
standardized test. The English Language Assessment test (LAS) determines ESL placement.
A completed application is reviewed with the following criteria in mind:
Seat availability: To promote learning, class size is limited.
Grade-Age Placement
English language ability
School records
Siblings at ICS
When testing is completed, the application is reviewed by the principal to determine acceptance. Once a student
has been accepted an interview with the Admissions Coordinator is scheduled. The parents must pay the
Registration Fee and Annual Capital Fee to secure the seat. As stated in the Terms of Acceptance, these fees are
non-refundable. Tuition and fees must be paid either in full or in part according to the alternative payment plan
before the child is allowed to attend classes.
The International Community School does not discriminate in its admission policy on the basis of national,
ethnic, religious, or racial origin.
