The WASP modeling employs the conservation of mass and
momentum equations to determine the river hydraulic characteristics
(e.g., depth, velocity, top width, flow rate, and cross-sectional
area) (Ambrose et al., 2001; Yang et al., 2007; Kuo et al., 2006; Lai
