This chapter begins with the recognition that projects are shut down for many reasons.
Not all projects end with a clear “Finished” and are turned over to a customer.
Regardless of the conditions for ending a project, the general process of
closure is similar, though the endings may differ significantly. Wrap-up closure
tasks are noted first. These tasks represent all the tasks that must be “cleaned up”
before the project is terminated. Evaluation of project performance is next. Finally,
