The MoO3-nanowire filter membrane is fabricated by a simple
vacuum filtration method which has been used to fabricate double-
walled carbon nanotubes membrane named ‘‘Buckypaper’’
[32]. Typically, the as-prepared a-MoO3 nanowires are re-dispersed
into a certain volume of deionized water to form a milky
suspension in a beaker. Then the suspension was slowly dumped
into a porous ceramic supported column-shaped filtration apparatus
under 0.1 MPa pressure vacuum. After drying and peeling off
the supported substrate, a white MoO3 membrane was obtained.
