Visit the highest mountain of Thailand, Doi Inthanon, an impressive 2590 m high above sea level. You may want to bring some warmer clothing. Your first stop after about one hour drive from Chiang Mai is the Doi Inthanon National Park and the Vachiratarn waterfall. On your way up, you will visit a Meo and Karen hill tribe village and the Twin Chedis commemorating the birthdays of the King and Queen of Thailand and housing a relic of Buddha. On your return to the valley, visit Chom Tong with the temple Wat Phratat Sri Chom Tong from the 14th century. Lunch will be provide en route and you will return to your hotel in the afternoon.
