Do you almost think that the Lord of the Flies talking is all in Simons head? That he's taken so much heat with little water and a bad diet that it's an illusion? and that as the children are changing the beast is too. i do agree that this is a lot for a child like Simon who has no one around to comfort him and help him get through what he just expierenced. If he told the others, they would think he has gone crazy, that the head on the stick was talking to him. I think that Simon will take this all in once he has time to and will take in concideration what is important and what isn't as important. That maybe hunting really isn't important all and he could get through to the rest that they need to concentrate on being rescued to go back to their own lives. That they are becoming beasts as they know it. They're not civilized now.
