It has been considered
that the charge separation on the solid insulators is changed by
the properties of compounds in insulating oil such as the degree
of dissociation and affinity to the insulating oil and insulator.
The aging properties of ECT are considered to be influenced by
the combination of the electrostatic charging behavior exhibited
by each of these sulfur compounds contained in aged oil.
