Transient current values are usually higher but their
duration is very short. In practically all of the cases near
high voltage power lines, shock currents can be detected
and they can be annoying but the currents are well below
harmful threshold levels. Worst-case contact currents from
large vehicles (e.g., tractor-trailers) seldom occur since the
rubber tires of vehicles are somewhat conductive.
