Job Description:
•Ensure weekly production to achieve scheduling attainment and MPS.
•Make necessary process adjustments and/or batch recipe related to special products and/or special grades to achieve the special product plan.
•Monitor OEE and track performance and realize OEE improvements by small group activity/MOC/SOP to ensure continuous improvements and higher overall capacity/availability of the plant.
•Prepare the operations for pit stops, outages and non-routine maintenances to minimize downtime and ensure good support to reliability program of the plant.
•Lead troubleshooting and problem solving activities in the operational area and involve with other parties concerned such as T&E, M&R, QA/QC in timely and effectively manner.
•Follow up sub-standards, conditions and procedure practice to ensure that improvement is continued and high safety awareness of the team is maintained.
•Follow up Non Conformity (NC) in timely completion and find effectively corrective and preventive action.
•Prepare report and assessment for operational variable cost as well as define areas for focused efficiency improvement to control the cost within the budgets.
•Ensure that operations team have adequate technical knowledge to operate the plant in safe, reliable and efficient manner.
•Provide coaching/training/SOP/OPL to operations team when needed to minimize operational failure or loss of efficiency/productivity.
•Identify and develop talented employees to the next level to enable career path.
•Provide inputs and organize operational readiness for special projects to ensure all the operational standards are met.
Qualification:
•Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
•10 years' experience directly in production manage and control of plastic/ bioplastic/ chemical/petrochemical, of which 5 years in a managerial position.
•Strong technical/engineering/business background in plastic/petrochemical/chemical environment.
•Experience in management of production unit.
•Preferable experience in Project Management and/or commissioning, start-up experience.
•Solid skills in DCS control.
•Good communicative English.
•Good skill of computer esp. MS Office programs.
•Possess functional competency set e.g. Drive for Result, Process Management, Communication, Continuous Improvement, Problem Solving, Leadership and People Management.
