respectively. Desorption tests were performed for diuron
and simazine on the control and OMW-affected soils from Negba
and Revivim. They were carried out by replacing about 80% of a
supernatant solution with a solution obtained by previous mixing
of soil samples with the aqueous background containing sodium
azide and calcium chloride. For desorption, the soil samples were
shaken for 72 h (as in the sorption experiments), centrifuged and
analyzed by HPLC.
