Practical Applications

In a weekly follow-up, HRV (an easy, inexpensive and non-invasive
technique) may be considered in order to plan the workload
of the training sessions and it can be a good indicator of how
each player is assimilating the accumulated workloads. The
mean values of the group could be an aid for the planning of the
total work volume for the week.
Individually, the sympathetic-parasympathetic relationships
may be an early alert of fatigue.
