Housekeeping Mantra
Housekeeping is a round-the-clock commitment
and requires discipline to ensure you have a great
work-life balance. I’ve found that balance, and
surrounding myself with a committed and disciplined
team means we can all enjoy life as much as our
careers. The mantra that I have followed very closely
in my career is of supporting your colleagues by
giving them a chance to shine, listening to them and
giving them time to train. Be a good role model and
be considerate, act calmly, act with integrity and lead
by example. We need to understand our colleagues –
reward them, set them goals, give feedback on their
performance and communicate with them.
