Since 2006e07, field trials based on several biosolarization alternatives
have been conducted annually in an experimental farm
located near Huelva. Charcoal rot was observed in this field for the
first time during the 2009e10 season. The aim of the present study
was to evaluate the effects of repeated biosolarization treatments
on M. phaseolina soil populations, on charcoal rot incidence and on
strawberry yield in a temperate climate.
