1a describes the synthetic pathway.
Briefly, a volume of 1200 mL carbonaceous nanofiber monolithic
hydrogel synthesized by the HTC method was first cut into pieces
of desired shapes and sizes with a sharp blade. After washing and
chemical etching to remove Te nanowires, the purified carbonaceous
nanofiber hydrogels were formed25. To prevent the hydrogel
networks from collapsing, a freeze drying technique was used for
water removal to form dried porous aerogels. The resulting
materials were then pyrolyzed at 1450uC for 2 h under an argon
atmosphere to generate black CNF aerogels.
