Figure 1 shows the illustration of the copyright data tracing
scheme. At first, the owner embedded a QR code to owner’s
digital image. In this case, the QR code consists of metadata
bits that represent copyright identification of the image. All the
information about the digital work, the owner, corresponding to
the metadata information is saved in the source database. The
function of the source database is to keep the entire original
image that will be watermarked. The web spider search and
download the images found in the WWW and then test the
image whether it contains the QR code or not. If yes, it will
extract the QR code and match the metadata with the one in the
database to find out who is the owner. After that, it will
automatically report this incident to the owner and also send
the link where the image is found
