Koh Nang Yuan is a small island and located only 15 minutes from Koh Tao. It is famous for its diving spots and its great snorkeling beach. Many day trippers come from the islands of Ko Tao, Ko Phangan and Koh Samui. Koh Nang Yuan consist of two main pinnacles and a small deeper "little brother". A prefect site for both training activities and fun drives with a depth rang of 18 m to 5 m surrounded by soft white sand dotted with the unusual symbiotic relationship of Goby fishes and their blind Shrimp house mates.
One of the most visited view point on Koh Nang Yuan is Koh Nangyuan View Point. It takes approximately 25 minutes to reach the viewpoint. Simply follow the signs that say Viewpoint and you will be rewarded with excellent views and great photo opportunities. Koh Nangyuan is a beautiful place to relax and snorkel during the day, and the perfect place to watch the sun sink into the Gulf of Thailand between the Koh Nangyuan islands. The island is located next to Koh Tao island and the beach is well known for its sugar white sands and crystal-clear emerald green water. Koh Nang Yuan is actually three little beautiful islands connected together by a gorgeous little beach (sand bar of about 50 m) which forms when the tide goes out. They are called North, Middle and South Island respectively. Looking from a far distance, it gives you an illusion of someone walking on the water.
