Cars not belonging to the Company
Mileage allowances for cars other than cars provided by the company are only paid when the car is used with the permission of the Director or Manager of the company responsible for the business travel.
Under such circumstances the responsibility for accident, fire, theft, passenger and third party insurance rests entirely with you and you must ensure that you are adequately covered for such journeys.
The driver must hold a full driving licence. You must enquire from your insurers whether any special endorsement is needed to your policies and proof of adequate cover for business use must be provided if requested. The Company does not accept any liabilities arising out of any such journeys. The mileage allowance is set out below.
