There was no treatment effect (P N 0.05) on TBARS from LL measured at 0 h (24 h post slaughter; Fig. 2A) of retail display as shown by the Flax × Algae treatment interaction, but there was a diet effect with algae fed (average of Algae and FlaxAlgae) lamb having a greater TBARS level (P b 0.05; 0.96 vs 0.66; SED 0.13) than that of lambs fed a diet without algae (average of Basal and Flax).
