Lynn: Bill, do you want to come with me to buy a present for Mom and Dad's anniversary?
Bill: Sure, Lynn. What do you want to get them?
Lynn: I don't know. I was hoping that you would have some ideas.
Bill: Maybe we could get them a new clock or something.
Lynn: Well, I was thinking of something a bit more sophisticated than that! You know they have always admired our neighbor's garden benches. Maybe we could buy them a nice table and chairs to put in the garden. They enjoy sitting outside together.
Bill: That's not a bad idea, but it may be expensive. We can buy that only if you can pay for most of it. I didn't intend to spend that much money.
Lynn: Bill, now that you have a job, I think you should be more responsible with your money. Don't you have any saved up?
Bill: Well, I do have a little money, but I was saving it so that I could buy a motorcycle.
Lynn: Come on, Bill! It's our parents' 25th wedding anniversary! Let's use our money to buy something nice for them.
Bill: All right, all right. But, I'm only doing this for Mom and Dad, not because you asked me to.
Lynn: That's OK. Let's go shopping now!
