It is important to study both energy and exergy efficiencies and see how they change with some system and drying parameters, e.g., mass flow rate of the drying air, temperature of the drying air, the amount of products coming in, the initial moisture content of the product, the final moisture content of the product, specific inlet exergy, humidity ratio, and net exergy use for drying the products.
