(The presence of bikes on the campus has been promoted in 2015. The terrains of MFU offer varying challenges and are popular among riders in Chiang Rai. Bike routes are mapped and signed. In addition, the sides of the main road were expanded for 4,470 meters in a major maintenance work in 2015. The Student Development Division provides free bikes for rent at student dormitories. These bikes were used in the first MFU Green Rally in which 20 teams of 3 members and the student staff had opportunity to learn about different aspects of green university through game stations. Events with special guests such as A-Day Magazine’s Active Campus Network and Audax Randonneur Thailand were organized. MFU riders also participated in major bike events in Chiang Rai such as Bike for Mom, Lanna to Lan Xang, Thailand Car Free Day 2015, etc. The university club is a member of the Network of Cycling Clubs in Chiang Rai and active in the development of the strategy to make Chiang Rai a city of bike.)
