React-Rite ZIPX (zinc isopropyl xanthate) is a free-flowing
100% active fast curing secondary vulcanization accelerator
for NR, SBR, NBR and Chloroprene rubbers, and a curing
agent/sulfur donor. Not containing nitrogen, and therefore
non-nitrosamine forming, ZIPX is compliant with TRGS
552 (Technische Regeln für Gefahrstoffe -Technical rules
for hazardous substances) as a non-nitrosamine forming
alternative to TMTM (tetramethylthiuram monosulfide) and
TMTD (tetramethylthiuram disulfide) in the manufacture of
nitrosamine-free rubber.
