Greetings from 1hotelrez.com!
We have great pleasure to announce a successful security upgrade on our server. This latest upgrade is made in compliance with the recent announcement from Google about the security flaw it has discovered. It is important for us to ensure maximum security, particularly for highly sensitive data travelling between different systems/servers and we keep on top of SSL and security vulnerabilities.
Currently, our server and SSL have been reconfigured to TLS v1.2 (the latest version available at present). This security upgrade has been completed on Wednesday 21st October 2015 (around 11.55 pm., GMT + 7).
With this in mind, we have been reported that some older versions of Internet Explorer (version 9 and below) will not be able to access our system. This is due to the fact that the older versions of IE are still using TLS v.1.0 .
Should you receive any notifications from your customers, please kindly advise the customers to do either of the followings: -
1) Change browser from Internet Explore to other browsers, i.e. Firefox or Chrome.
2) They can upgrade their Internet Explorer to version 10 or the latest possible.
3) If they wish to continue using their current browser version, they could upgrade their existing Windows license or they go to the setup on their current browser and make necessary changes.
